About Us

Meet Your Taxidermist: Josh

From as early as he can remember, Josh has gravitated towards art whether that be drawing, painting, photography, or music. Another lifelong passion has always been the outdoors, wilderness, and the animals that live within. It was only too perfect to combine these passions to bring you Altitude Taxidermy & Wildlife Artistry, dedicated to producing memorable mounts and artistic displays to honor and appreciate the wildlife that we all enjoy.

Josh is an avid bowhunter and a strong supporter of the Alberta Bowhunters Association.

Meet The Help: Lexi

When you stop by the studio, you may see Josh’s wife, Lexi helping out in the background. Lexi’s official role is keeping Josh on track (haha), and taking care of all the behind the scenes needs to keep a taxidermy studio running smoothly like ordering, invoicing, social media, etc. She also makes one hell of a bear rug, so trust her with all your rugging needs!

Josh strives to bring out the living personality of your animal in your mount to enhance your memories for years to come.
